180 light hearted romantic comedy-Siddharth,Priya Anand,Nitya Menon

Telugu movie 180 starring Siddharth, Priya Anand and Nitya Menon, is a lighthearted romantic comedy. Lead actor Siddharth is back in Tamil films after a 6-year-hiatus. The movie has been shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. "Though I have done several romantic movies in the past, 180 is a special movie for me. We have used the latest technology to enhance the visual appeal,” says Siddharth. Expectations are high from director P. Jayendra. "The director's narration of the story is superb," says Siddharth. P Jayendra is a well-known ad film maker. He debuts as a director with 180. The shooting started in July last year and according to reports 180 will be ready for release this summer. The shooting took place at various picturesque locations in Chennai, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur and San Francisco. Sarath Vasudevan has composed the music for the movie. There are six songs in the film of which five have been written by Madhan Karky and one by Viveka. Bangalore-based Nithya Menon plays the second female lead. Priya Anand, the main female lead, is well-known in the South especially for her praiseworthy performance in the movie Leader. Balasubramanyam's superb camera work is one of the high points of 180. The film has been jointly produced by Satyam Cinemas and Agal Films
. The Tamil version of 180 is called Putham Pudhu Kaalai. Both versions will be released
simultaneously, so get set for a double dose of Siddharth!

Funny 4 the Day ~ Madea as Black Swan

I watched the "Black Swan" film this past weekend and thought it was exquisitely spooky.

 All the actors turned out great performances and Natalie Portman deserved her Academy Award best actress win.

But my favorite actress (& performance) in the film was none other than Winona Ryder's haunting cameo appearance.

 I was just blown away by this film which I will now need to score on Blu-ray. CK gives two thumbs up!
