Brad Pitt and George Clooney Take Their Gay-Friendly Bromance To The Stage!

Good news for all you fans of the super-sexy Brad Pitt/George Clooney bromance: The dudes are teaming up (off the red carpet and on stage!) for the West Coast premiere of 8, Dustin Lance "Black's Prop 8" play which follows the landmark trial to overturn the ban on same-sex marriage.

So since George Clooney recently "fessed he's totally "cool with gay rumors" and dished tons of deets on his friendship with his pro-gay marriage bro, it's no surprise Brad has decided to follow Mr. Clooney's lead and join the all-star cast.

But, will Brad one-up his buddy George and actually play gay on the stage?!
You bet!

And we admit we could not be more excited for these two hot hunks to join their forces in such a pivotal performance.

Pitt will play United States District Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker (who came out after retiring from the federal bench), while Clooney plays attorney David Boies, who also fought to overturn the controversial ban.

As for our thoughts on the couple? Well, we think it's absolutely perfect, considering George has a great deal of respect for his pal and doesn't hesitate to share why he's so eager to applaud his best bud:
"I can't speak highly enough about how hard he works at making the world better. I'm very proud to call him my friend," Clooney gushed in his interview with "The Advocate" when asked about his bromance with Brad.

But, since George also stated he and Brad don't have too much time to buddy up outside of award season, we're just thrilled to see the bros bond over an issue they are both so passionate about, as Brad and George have openly supported gay marriage from the get-go.

As for their epic bromance? Well, Georgey also coyly admits he and Brad set a high standard for best buds in Hollywood:

"I do think we've set the bar very high… Not only do I enjoy him as a person and respect his talent, but I also love what he does in the world," George explained with clear admiration for his pal.

We're just so thrilled to watch these two un-closeted thinkers come out on the same stage.

What do you think of Brad Pitt's role? Are you disappointed George has yet to play gay?

Anne Hathaway On Gay Rights VIDEO

Anne Hathaway, who has been a part of the gay rights movement since even before she co-starred in the landmark film "Brokeback Mountain" stated this month that she and her traditionally Catholic family left the Church over its views on homosexuality.

Having a gay family member was enough to make them, like many other families, feel unwelcome. "The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out," Anne revealed. "Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?"

Hathaway has given a speech and accepted an award at 2008 Human Rights Campaign ( HRC ) in Los Angeles Dinner.

You can watch the video I made about Anne Hathaway's speech on gay rights. Enjoy...

Eusebio Leal: Tobacco Is a Cultural Heritage of Cuba

Wednesday, 29 February 2012 14:16

Havana, Cuba, Feb 29.- Havana Historian Eusebio Leal said on Wednesday that the production, trade, and traditions of tobacco are part of the Cuban cultural heritage and a national legacy that remains in the preference of millions of people around the world.

Speaking at Havana’s Convention Center to the delegates participating in the ongoing 14th International Habano Festival, Leal recalled that tobacco was first taken to Europe in 1492 when Christopher Columbus returned from his first trip to the Americas.

The Havana Historian said personalities such as singer Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo) and tobacco producer Alejandro Robaina are symbols of Cuba who were linked and contributed to the promotion and development of Cuban cigars all around the world.

This year’s Habano Festival is being attended by representatives from 60 countries and the program includes cigar tasting sessions, seminars, visits to tobacco plantations and cigar factories, as well as a commercial fair and an auction of humidors. Also programmed is the screening of the film ‘Cigars: The Heart and Soul of Cuba’, by James Suckling and James Orr.

Habanos S.A., founded in 1994, is a joint venture made up of Cuba’s Cubatabaco company and the Altadis Corporation, which belongs to the British Group Tobacco Group PLC. This company markets Cuban cigars on the island and abroad, based on an exclusive distribution network operating in over 150 countries. (ACN).

Target Stores Withdraw Offensive Whitney Houston Greeting Cards

Her unexpected death at the age of 48 shocked America.

And as that was not enough now a U.S. supermarket has been forced to pull a greetings card from the shelves that poked fun Whitney Houston's relationship with her ex-husband Bobby Brown after a public outcry.

Target offended their customer's by stocking the light-hearted product, which read: "Next time you think of dating the bad boy consider Whitney Houston."

The retail giant decided to pull the card after receiving angry complaints from customers.

A company spokesman insisted it had been available long before Whitney's body was discovered on February 11th in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel room.

The representative added: "As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.

"It is never our intent to offend guests with the products we offer, and we take feedback from guests very seriously."

What do you think of it?
In order to increase their sales, they offend Whitney's memory.
How disrespectful! The Houston family should be devastated after this!
