"Jack-O-Dandy" ~ Altered SFA
Presenting my new Halloween art for eBay auction this week. This canvas piece is comprised of vintage decoupaged postcards with mottled paint for the background. The main image is a mounted archival photograph print of an original postcard I did back in 2007. Vintage buttons were stacked and applied in the corners as well. Sealed with multiple coats of archival matte varnish. A multi-layered piece and looks even better in person.

A Pfun Artist Trade! :-)
Hi Folks,I wanted to share the FUN artist trade I did recently with one of my favorite artists Lisa Nelson. Lisa and I are fans of each others work. I wanted to add one of her delicious STJ ornaments to my growing Halloween tree ornament collection. In exchange for her "Evil Jack" ornament, I sent her my recent "Bell Tower Bats" postcard. Lisa thoughtfully sent me a picture of her new framed CK art. The frame is beautiful and lends itself well to the antiqued sepia tones. Lisa I adore your vibrant ornie and it will have a treasured place on my 2010 Halloween tree!

New ArtFire Shoppe Now Open!
A smart person I'm told, never puts all their eggs in one basket...SO I've opened a new shop at ArtFire today. I'm also told this is an up and coming venue for artisans to sell their wares. I have started modestly with three postcard prints to test the waters. Time will tell.
Update (3.4.10) ~ I am in the process of adding 3 more items to the new shop!
