"CHANEL has selected famous actor Brad Pitt to be the face of the upcoming advertising campaign for CHANEL N°5," the brand tweeted on Wednesday morning.
Pitt's campaign, which will debut later this year, banked the actor a rumored seven figures. Not bad for holding a bottle of perfume.
What do you think of Brad being selected for CHANEL?

A new, sexy Selena Gomezad featuring a soaking-wet "Wizards of Waverly Place" star has launched ahead of the release of a new fragrance bearing the Disney starlet’s name.
Selena Gomez’s ad was released on the eve of the launch of her new fragrance- called simply, "Selena Gomez" at retailer Macy’s. In the ad, Gomez floats in a tank amid a sea of purple light and makeup, along with her lip-bedecked purple bottle of perfume.
The fragrance itself represents Selena Gomez’s first foray into grown-up fashion.
Selena explains that the vibe she was going for was "simple and pretty," and she stated in a recent interview:
"I describe it as yummy. It’s romantic. It’s not over-bearing. Simple! My mom legitimately likes it. She’s so honest with me, she’ll tell me that she doesn’t like my clothes or the dress I wore, but she wears this everyday. So, I wanted to make sure that it was something that could appease everybody, which is why there’s not a picture of me on the box. I wanted it to be about the fragrance."
Gomez reveals that the bottle is meant to evoke the feel of a starlet on the red carpet:
"The bottle was really the hardest part, because I wanted it to be tall. I like the fact that it stands out, because I always go to the ones that are tallest in the morning. The design of the bottle is almost like a gown, so it represents me on the red carpet. The lips are fun! It makes it more youthful, and you can play with it. I get bored and play with things, so I think it’s perfect."
It has to be mentioned that the perfume featured in the Selena Gomez ad goes exclusively to Macy’s (where it will retail for 35, $45 and $55, depending on size), and in late summer, the fragrance hits Nordstrom, Dillard’s and Ulta.
Katy Perry has started getting acne from stress and lack of sleep when she began doing world tours and road shows and her confidence really went down low. Acne made her vulnerable and controlled her confidence. Being a real person, she believed that she had to reveal her story to her fans that there is a solution to acne and that's Proactiv. Katy Perry uses the New Proactiv with micro crystal benzoyl peroxide to fight back acne.
Katy after trying every procedure, facial treatment and product she could find, she finally decided to try Proactiv. The good thing, besides her acne treatment, is that she got paid 4 million dollars and endorse Proactiv. The irony is that now she can afford more expensive makeup to cover her acne!
Judging by the pics, Katy seems to have borderline severe acne.
According to dermatologists, this acne product doesn’t work. The reason why dermatologists are against Proactiv is because it uses Benzyol Peroxide and Glycolid Acid, both of which are way too harsh for twice-daily use. Plus the fact that you can achieve clear skin without putting bleaches and acids all over your face.
The truth is that nobody is immune from acne and modern medicine just isn’t getting the job done in terms of clearing it up. Katy Perry probably doesn’t like having acne ( who does?), and as a celebrity, her looks are an important part of her career. She can certainly afford the best medical care in the world. But doctors, dermatologists in particular, are hung up with old, outdated information about acne. They’ll charge you the $15 copay, make $85 from the insurance company, and write you a prescription for one cream or another, and send you on your way. When you come back with problem skin, it helps them more than it does when you disappear forever with perfect skin. They don’t have a financial interest in healing your acne.
Katy Perry breaks two basic rules about acne: She wears hats and sunglasses! Hats and sunglasses can block UVA and visible light spectrums from getting to your retina, which prevents your brain from suppressing melatonin. Katy's lifestyle doesn't help her to get enough sleep. On top of that, when she travels during the day she has no access to natural sunlight.
5. About Katy Perry's diet: Eliminate all processed sugars, processed carbs and all bit a tiny bit of fruit. Try to avoid dairy. Take a Vitamin B complex, selenium, and zinc supplement religiously. Have a chef prepare daily meals with tomatoes cooked in olive oil and a low carb diet with tons of vegetables, especially carrots and broccoli. Eat sunflower seeds in the evening.
6. Exercise every night 4 hours before bed (concerts probably pretty much count as a workout).
7. Quit using any prescription skin products that dry out the skin and make her too sensitive to the sun.
8. Get rid of the hat and sunglasses!
If Katy follows these simple steps, she will have acne free perfect skin in a week!

Mary J. Blige says she never signed off on the controversial fried chicken ad that she shot for Burger King! At least not the version that was blasted on the Internet.
Mary J. tells TMZ, "I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip."
Mary also states, "I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."
The spot , which Burger King has since yanked from its YouTube site , features Mary singing about a new crispy chicken wrap. The ad drew tons of criticism on Twitter for playing off a stereotype about African-Americans and chicken.
Burger King confirms the ad was released prematurely "before all of the licensing and final approvals were obtained." The fast food giant also says, "We would like to apologize to Mary J. and all of her fans for airing an ad that was not final."
Burger King says the final approved version will be released soon.
This was absolutely ridiculous and humiliating for Mary J. Blige... Hope the final approved version will be flattering for Mary! What do you think?

Lindsay Lohanis suing the financial company E-Trade, insisting that a boyfriend-stealing, "milkaholic" baby in its latest commercial , who by coincidence is named Lindsay, was modeled after her. Of course she wants $100 million for her pain and suffering, according to "The Post".
Lindsay filed a lawsuit in Nassau County Supreme Court over the commercial that debuted during the Super Bowl.
The ad , part of a series starring babies who play the stock market , features a boy apologizing to his girlfriend via video chat for not calling her the night before.
"And that milkaholic Lindsay wasn't over?" the baby girl asks him suspiciously.
"Lindsay?" the boy replies, just before a baby girl sticks her head into the frame and slurs, "Milk-a-what?"
Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, stated that Lohan has the same single-name recognition as Oprah or Madonna.
"Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit," Ovadia claimed.
"They used the name Lindsay," Ovadia told. "They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan."
Ovadia wants an injunction to force the spot off the air, and the Lindsay camp wants every last copy of the commercial.
Chris Brown, a spokesman for Grey Group, which produced the spot, is throwing cold milk on the controversy, declaring it "just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team."
Ovadia said E-Trade has violated Lohan's rights under New York state civil-rights law and used her "name and characterization" in business without paying her or getting her approval.
The lawyer said that since the spot was seen by hundreds of millions of people watching the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics finals, the firm has garnered great profits. She says Lohan is owed $50 million in exemplary damages, plus another $50 million in compensatory damages.
According to a court document obtained by "Radar Online", the suit was withdrawn with prejudice on Monday. Lohan had filed the suit in March, at which time the "Hollywood Reporter" had some amusing theories as to why she'd bothered. This was right after Ungaro dumped her but before she started missing depositions in a civil case related to one of her 2007 DUI arrests.
The document reflects no costs or fees assigned to either party, but an unnamed source told TMZ that Lindsay made some money out of the deal.
It seems like Lindsay beleives that all the world turns around her. In spite of the fact that two years have passed after the Super Bowl commercial and the following lawsuit by Lindsay it shows how narcissistic and greedy Lindsay is. What do you think?
