A New Commission!

I have a new commission to start work on this week and I'm just tickled black and white, or is that orange and black? The private commission is for a valued collector and will be a fun project. Can't wait to start!

CK Websites Revamped for 2011

I wanted to start the new year out right with a fresh new look for my main Designs By CK website. My 1st new Halloween art piece of 2011 "Ghost Ship" was the inspiration for the new splash intro page. I even added a fun new foghorn sound effect as well. What's funny is the sound effect reminds me of old Scooby Doo cartoons.

The home page will feature current artwork as a clickable picture link to where it can be purchased. I've added more text links and streamlined some of the individual pages. Late last year I had removed the sound effects from the individual pages to make them load faster.

Hi Folks,

I wanted to share some of my favorite new pieces that will be available at my upcoming Spirits in Sanford Halloween art show. I am not new to sculpting but several of these pieces were my first time working with Paperclay. I had so much fun with this new medium and hope that it shows. These items will be making the long trip from Maryland to Florida in a few days. I hope that they will be given good homes in Florida on Oct. 9th!

Toiling in Le Lab

Hi Folks,

Many of you have probably wondered why I haven't been making my blog rounds of late. I have been working very hard the past several months to be ready for my 1st Halloween art show. I have completed 31 eclectic art items for the Spirits in Sanford show on October the 9th. I'm so excited and proud to be participating in this 2nd annual juried art show in Sanford, Florida.

If you will be in the Sanford, Florida area on Sat. Oct. 9th the show will run from 10 AM - 4 PM.
