Spooky Time Jingles Soiree & Giveaway Winners!
CK will be there!I'm getting a wild hair and will be traveling to NJ early this morning to attend the 1st annual Spooky Time Jingles Soiree. Looking forward to seeing all the artist goodies, and meeting all of my participating artist friends in person! I designed the 1st STJ ad and was a guest artist back in 2008. I'm especially looking forward to meeting founder Dani Nelson in person, who I've been friends with online for several years now.

~ Disney Magic Kingdom & Epcot ~
Too bad my eyes were closed...The second portion of our trip in Florida had us spending two days at Disney World. The first day we went to Magic Kingdom which was very busy due to it being a holiday (Columbus Day). The whole park was Halloween'ed up with orange banners & Mickey Mouse pumpkins everywhere. Of course the first attraction we hit was Space Mountain which is always a blast. I did not realize they did a major renovation of Space Mountain in 2009 and added an additional track. The Haunted Mansion was even better than I remembered from my last trip in the late 1980's. Epcot was wonderful as well and I really enjoyed "Captain EO" and "Mission Space."
I had so much fun in Florida I did not want to come back to Maryland. The mid 80 degree blue skies and pool time will be missed. Back to Fall...well at least we have Halloween to look forward to soon!

~ Spirits in Sanford - Halloween Art Show ~

Here are the long awaited Spirits in Sanford Halloween art show pictures! It was a great show and many new friends and connections were made. I was tickled lime green to be able to attend this year and be table mates with Jorge de Rojas (HohoHalloween). The Jeanine Taylor Folk Art gallery in Sanford, Florida was a very charming venue for this special art show. All of the artist offerings were just great. It was nice to see the reactions to my work and the other artists in person. Since I sell 99% of my art online, I do not get a chance to see the actual reactions to my work. Many pictures were taken and it was hard to narrow down the selection. The show set up and preview party was on Friday Oct. 8th (costumes were encouraged). The actual show day was Sat. Oct. 9th (we had a great turnout). Enjoy!

Heading to Florida ~ 700th Blog Post Giveaway!
Hi Folks,I'll be flying to Orlando, Florida on Thurs. Oct. 7th to do my very first Halloween art show. I've buttoned down the hatches and I'm finalizing last minute trip details. I'm rolling a mini vacation into the trip after the art show and won't be returning until Wed. Oct. 13th.
