Jessica Sanchez Covers Whitney Houston And Wows "American Idol" Judges

Teenager Jessica Sanchez covered the late Whitney Houston’s version of "I Will Always Love You" during tonight’s American Idol "guys vs. girls" performance round, delivering a performance that awed the show's judges.

Jessica "just made 40 million people cry," according to judge Steven Tyler.

"Not only are you one of the best singers tonight . I think you’re one of the best singers in the whole competition!" raved Randy Jackson, who really never takes his compliments quite far enough.

When host Ryan Seacrest asked the panel to name Wednesday night's top two singers among the 13 finalists, Steven Tyler was ready.

"Jessica Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez," Tyler stated.
The 16-year-old San Diego high school student's assured version of "I Will Always Love You" was "just amazing. I don't even know what to say," Jennifer Lopez exclaimed during the performance show.

What do you think of Jessica's cover?

In my opinion, she was absolutely amazing! A star is born!
